Good

Spacious room, pleasant grounds, pool, helpful staff, good breakfast. We were a couple only staying one night but it seems like a good place for families with young children.

Hotel decor rather dated. Restaurant food from a la carte menu was very poor.

air conditioning did not work. very disappointed with that, it was super hot. hard to sleep or get comfortable. especially with our newborn

good location. quiet. very nice and luxurious feeling. good breakfast. excellent staff. clean.

the air conditioning did NOT work in either of the two rooms we stayed in. very disappointed in that. was so hot, we couldn’t even sleep well. air conditioning is super important to us since we are not used to this hot weather.

Hotel with outdated furnishings and facilities and very poor breakfast for the price asked

The location is the hotel's best quality especially if you are looking for a more rural, quiet setting. It is on a narrow country road very close to a village chapel. Behind the hotel is a forested hillside and there are opportunities for walks along the country lanes. The young ladies at reception were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious though dated.

The hotel needs a complete overhaul as the furnishings are worn and old fashioned. If that were the only problem, it wouldn't be so bad. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we did take breakfast and that was a big disappointment. The selection was very poor. First, there was no cold cereal. Most hotels have corn flakes or muesly at least. The bread selection was basic with only white bread available and you had to ask a gentleman to heat up the bread if you wanted toast. With an antiquated toaster the process took ages and you had to stand and wait until he finished. Usually hotels have a selection of croissants and rolls but this selection was spartan with a mini croissant that was more than a day old. The only positive was the fresh orange juice. There is no way that such a poor, miniscule breakfast could be worth 12 euros, which is the cost if you do not get a deal and have it included. Even at 8 euros if you have it included, it is way overpriced. The hotel does not have 4 star quality and is not worth the 98 euros charged in the high season for a double without breakfast or 114 with breakfast.

Once upon a time, a 4 stars

The room was large, there was a bidet and they offered a small water bottle for each person.

Once upon a time, perhaps, it had been a 4 stars. The hotel is old fashioned and the furbish is not renewed. There is a nasty smell. It should be caused by old carpets. The breakfast is bad. The food and beverage are poor quality level and the staff does not refill the stuff, so you can eat on a first come-first served basis. There isn't wifi in the room and the network in the common spaces is low speed. At the end, a very poor value for money. A bad 3 stars!
